Join us for a free day of the arts!

What is the Art March? - a stroll down Liberty Avenue, in downtown Pittsburgh, visiting cool art exhibits, seeing short films, and making art and music.

When? - Sunday, March 30th, from 1-4.

Where? - Group One will begin at Liberty Avenue and 9th Street to get their map, and then visit the following places:
  • a hand-drumming class lead by a professional percussionist, who is a certified teacher extremely experienced in autism
  • a couple of galleries with cool art including Robots Alive at SPACE gallery
  • relax in the Harris theater for free short films shown in autism-friendly style (lights halfway up, sound turned down)
  • get into the arts with puppet and mural making in a great indoor space.
Group Two will begin at Liberty Avenue and 7th Street and go in the reverse order, so we don't overcrowd any one place.

Why? - To try new things! Who knows what interests may be sparked?

What will there be to eat? - Fruit, water, and other snacks will be free but you may also bring your own.
